Key Club

I love serving my community and earning volunteering hours through Key Club. Partaking in this club has given me the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. I have truly made some unforgettable memories with KC.

Family

I am super duper close with my immediate family and my cousins, especially my mother and eldest brother. During the pandemic, I hung out with my cousin, Adrienne, almost every single day; she's like an older sister to me. I also reconnected with my second cousins, Tiffany and Max, and we had a lot of good times together. Through our time spent together, I got pretty close to Tiffany. My second cousin, Christine, lives in Arizona but I am still close to her because we are the same age. So in conclusion, I love my family dearly and they mean the world to me.

Friends

My friends are so very cool. I love them and it's always fun being around them. I love going on spontaneous, last-minute planned trips with them because it's one of the only things that make me feel like an actual teenager.

Hiking

I wouldn't consider this a hobby but I really do enjoy hiking. Even though I sometimes get sore legs the day after, I still really like it. I live near Lake Chabot and so I always go there for a quick 3-mile hike when I have the time and motivation. I love hiking to the top of the hill and just admiring the Bay and the wild turkeys I see. I definitely recommend hiking here.

Penpalling

I was so bored during the summer of 2020 that I found a new hobby: penpalling. My penpal lives in Australia and they go my Rey! Penpalling is fun because who doesn't like decorating letters and mailing them to a foreign country!?

Eating yummy food

Food is such an amazing and beautiful thing in this world. Eating makes me happy, especially when eating with people I love.

Anime/manga

Anime and manga are my stress relievers. When I work for too long, I like to take a break and watch an episode or two of anime. During the weekends, I like to read entire manga series. They are entertaining and beautiful works of art.
